User Status

Note: A status is comprised of a combination of one to two words. The first word refers to the status of the User ID. The second word refers to the status of the user’s password.

Status

Description

New Pending

A user who was created, but is waiting for approval within CashPro Online. Refer to Approving or Rejecting User Requests for more information.

New - Valid

A user who has not completed initial login to CashPro Online.

New - Expired (2)

A user who has not completed initial login to CashPro Online and has an expired password. Refer to Resetting Passwords for more information.

New - Disabled (3)

A user who has entered an incorrect access code three times during initial login to CashPro Online. Refer to Resetting Passwords for more information.

Active - Valid

A user who has completed the following:

  • Changed a password

  • Created a new initial password

  • Selected challenge questions and answers

  • Authenticated via a digital certificate or security token, if required

  • Completed an initial login to CashPro Online

Active - Expired (2)

One of the following applies:

  • A user who has not logged in to CashPro Online within 90 days.

  • A user who has not updated a password within 90 days. Refer to Resetting Passwords for more information.

  • A user who has received an access code, but did not establish a new password within three days of receiving an access code. Refer to Resetting Passwords for more information.

Active - Disabled (3)

A user who has entered three incorrect passwords when logging in to CashPro Online.

Locked - Disabled (4)

A user who has received an access code but failed to correctly answer challenge questions. Refer to Unlocking Users for more information.

Locked - Disabled (5)

A user who correctly entered a password, but failed to correctly answer challenge questions. Refer to Unlocking Users for more information.

Locked - Disabled (6)

A user who was sent an email validation code via email and did not enter that validation code within 30 days. Refer to Unlocking Users for more information.

Deactivated - Other (2,3,4,5,6)

A user whose access to CashPro Online is being prevented by an administrator. Refer to Deactivating and Activating Users for more information.

Deactivated - Disabled (7)

A user whose access to CashPro Online is being prevented by Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Refer to Deactivating and Activating Users for more information.

Deleted

A user and all associated entitlements have been removed from CashPro Online by an administrator. Refer to Deactivating and Activating Users for more information.
